Welcome to Hollow Dice!


First off, thanks for checking this out. I was thinking about games I've played and was wondering, "What if I tried combining Hollow Knight with Pokémon Mystery Dungeon?" Hollow Knight is one of my favorite games and so are the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon games, so I thought I would use Unity's 3d game engine to make a 3d rendition of the two games. I wanted to take the difficulty, feel, and combat of Hollow Knight and try and put it into the environment of the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon games. I also thought it would be an interesting idea to add a way you could recruit enemies you fight, and have them fight with you! You may be wondering what the "Dice" aspect of Hollow Dice is. I thought it would also be interesting if you had some attacks that gave you random abilities, kind of like how when you roll dice you get a random outcome. I can't wait to see where this project goes!

Here's what we have so far:

-Basic Character Movement. Can move left, right, forward, and backward.


Here's what is coming:

-A character model. It will have animations!

-Enemies. They will be able to spawn and you'll be able to kill them. They will also be able to kill you.

-A ranged attack that charges and does a random effect!


Ideas that I would like to add, but may not:

-Befriending mechanic.

-Possible Aerial combat.

-More 'spells' with random effects.
